Aktas Holding, which is the leader in Turkey and is one of the top three firms in the world in the sector of air suspension spring, represented our country in the InnoTrans 2014, the rail system and technology fair, organized in Germany, successfully.
Aktas Holding represented Bursa and our country with nearly 150 firms of Bursa participated in the fair under the organization of BTSO in the Innotrans hosted in Berlin, capital city of Germany, as the largest rail transportation fair of the world between 23rd – 26th of September.
While 2 thousand 758 companies, from 55 countries including Turkey, participated in the giant fair organized in ExpoCenter in Berlin in every two years, where the equipment and systems and new vehicles are displayed in addition to the cutting edge technologies in the railway transportation, Aktas Holding was represented by Sami Erol, its Board Member and CEO, in the fair with approximately 130 thousand visitors.
Sami Erol, Board Member and CEO of Aktas Holding, who made explanations regarding the fair 10th of which was realized this year, stated that the fair was very efficient for them and underlined significance of such international organizations meeting all representatives of the sector.
“We shall continue to add value to the sector”
Erol, who stated that they produce solutions for requirement of the sector as Aktas Holding, said: “There are serious attempts to make the railway transportation widespread in our country and increase the domestic contribution in this sector in recent years. We carry out activities for production of the secondary suspension systems used in the rail vehicles as Aktas. We made various interviews related to these activities in the fair realized here. I may say that our interviews were very productive. Thanks to the train spring developed by us, we have an opportunity to prevent preference of this product from abroad and show to the whole world that the springs may be produced fully with domestic resources. Thus, we have aimed at both contributing in the country economy and adding value to the sector. Aktas Holding shall continue to put its signature on successful activities in the future like in the past”.
